Book sale – March 26 through 28!

Book_sale_-_spring_2015The Spring 2015 Friends of the Chatham Community Library book sale will be held on Thursday and Friday, March 26 and 27 from 9 AM to 7 PM and Saturday, March 28, from 9 AM to 2 PM.  The sale will take place at Chatham Community Library on the campus of Central Carolina Community College, 197 NC Highway 87 North, in Pittsboro.

The collection for this sale will not disappoint. You can be certain to find something to enjoy in the impressive collection of mysteries, fiction, trade paperbacks, cookbooks, history, biography, science, children’s books, and many more categories, as well as audio and visual material.  Almost all items are from donations by residents of Chatham County.

A listing of special and unusual books available at the sale can be found at www.friendsofthechathamcommunitylibrary.org/booksale.htm  These items will be available in “Claudia’s Corner”.  The books in Claudia’s Corner are not necessarily rare or expensive. The books there are selected if they deserve more attention than they might receive it they were blended in with the thousands of other books on the main sales floor.

In addition to the usually attractive pricing, Thursday purchases over $200 will receive a 20% discount. On Friday, all prices are 50% off. On Saturday, you can buy a grocery bag full of books for $5. (Grocery bags donated by Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter will be available at the sale on Saturday.)

As a member of the Friends, you should have received a $3 discount card in the mail. Bring it with you and apply the discount to the books you buy.

All the funds raised by the book sale go to enhance library resources and services, so please come out and support your community library!
